EnergyScope
Quote cost comparison
Compare two or three fixed-rate quotes you already hold, using one consistent annual basis.
Compare only quotes you hold
Estimate two or three simple fixed-unit-rate quotes using the same annual consumption and 365-day basis. The tool does not fetch supplier offers or recommend a contract.
Usage, rates, fees, names and results remain in the current browser memory. They are not sent to the server, analytics or CRM.
Align before entering
- Confirm every quote is for the same supply point, fuel and annual consumption.
- Check each unit rate, standing charge, separate fee, VAT/CCL basis and contract term.
- Leave multi-rate, variable, pass-through or unlisted charges as unknown rather than entering zero.
How to read the estimate
- Only the entered figures are calculated; this is not a formal quote or complete bill forecast.
- There is no lower-cost label when tax bases or additional fees are unknown.
- Lower on your inputs does not mean cheapest in the market, best supplier or guaranteed savings.
V1 uses the same annual usage and a fixed 365-day period for every quote. Contract term is shown separately.
Quote comparison questions
Why is the period fixed at 365 days?
The tool uses one annual consumption figure, so V1 fixes the example at 365 days rather than mismatching annual use with an arbitrary short period. Contract term is displayed separately.
Can I compare when VAT or CCL is unknown?
You can still see an estimate for each input, but the tool will not rank them. Ask the supplier or broker whether each item is included and on what basis.
Should broker uplift be added as a separate fee?
Not if the uplift is already embedded in the unit rate. Ask for written disclosure if the charging method is unclear.
